Learn About Reiki Energy Healing Education and Certification
Reiki is an ancient practice of healing the body with Source energy. You do not use any of your own energy.
Some people think that it is Japanese because it was reintroduced to society by Dr. Usui. This man is recognized as being the founder of Reiki, but energy healing for the body, mind and soul has been around for thousands of years. Its practices seem to have gotten lost and Dr. Usui is accredited with rediscovering Reiki by researching ancient spiritual documents, finding out how hands-on-healing was done down through the ages.
More and more people are looking for good health and general wellness, so natural health practitioners are more and more in demand than ever, and receiving a Reiki treatment is now being requested by many.
Reiki is considered to be a Japanese healing method, but in reality, it is the way that both Jesus and Buddha heal people. The Reiki practitioner is trained to allow the all-knowing God-force energy to flow through them and out to the client through their hands. The Reiki practitioner’s hands get very hot as this healing energy flows through them to promote healing. This incredible healing force seems to know where to go and what to do in the client’s body.
There are many holistic healing courses available because there is a growing demand for natural wellness in the alternative medicine or holistic health field. Reiki is a natural modality to learn because there are Reiki masters in all countries of the world who can teach this.
When you are Reiki:
- You do not take on the illness of another
- You do not use your own energy for healing. You are trained to become a channel for this Source energy
- You will feel refresh and energized as you give healings to another because you receive the Source energy first and allow it to flow thru you.
Massage therapist and chiropractors often add Reiki training because of the three points above especially when you touch others you do not take on the problems of your clients. If you are not protected, you could easily take on the energy blockages and sickness of another. When you are Reiki trained there is no danger of your energy being lowered as you touch your clients. You do not take on the illness of others. Many are choosing Reiki-1 training as the core beginner training. Being trained in Reiki will add another dimension to your preparation as an energy healer.
Reiki Practitioner Training Education
Practitioners may achieve certification in a Reiki training programs that last anywhere from two days to a few weekends to years, depending on the Teacher and their curriculum, as well as, the level of certification desired.
Reiki Masters can charge what they want because there is no governing body or specific rules that determine the three levels, and most Reiki schools or teaching organizations have a beginning (Reiki 1), intermediate (Reiki 2) and Reiki Master level (Reiki 3).
Beginning classes can take from one to two days and cost about $200/$300, while a Reiki master program can cost anywhere from $750, $1,800 or even $10,000 and take up to a year or more to complete. At the Reiki Ranch energy healing school Reiki classes are very inexpensive and several thousands of happy students have been certified at all levels of Reiki since it opened. See Reiki Ranch School in Chehalis, WA.
Reiki energy healing aligns and stimulates zero point energy flowing through the body, and this helps to raise the field of energy healing and reduces stress. Reiki Students need to study the location of internal organs in anatomy books, the psychology of emotional energy blocks to remove them and kinesiology (muscle testing).
The law of attraction is of particular importance because the Reiki students will be flowing 20% more energy flow and they need to become aware of their thoughts and actions. Whatever you are thinking will manifest a lot faster. Thoughts are things. There are also other energy-related subjects to learn.
The students learn how to feel energy and be sensitive to their own intuition and the energy streams of the seven “subtle bodies,” or energy zones as well as checking the chakras for correct energy flow.

The energy healing field is constantly expanding, and so are the opportunities for Reiki practitioners. Many students start with their own private Reiki practice, while others add it to their existing nursing, massage, acupuncture, or chiropractic practice. Reiki students can volunteer at hospitals to get practice and build their reputations. Some hospitals have hired Reiki practitioners on their staff, such as the New England Rehabilitation Hospital, Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, The California Pacific Medical Center is one of the largest hospitals in northern California and many others.

Hi my name is Denise Massey. This is my first time here at the Reiki Ranch. I have some previous experience with Yoga work, shamanic work and Reiki. But I haven’t ever experienced doing the healing myself. I’ve only been healed with it, so it was quite the experience, here today. I sent healing energy to my husband 4 hours away, and he had the exact same spiritual awakening that I did. So I have proof and testimony that it works. It wasn’t just me, here, drinking the Kool-Aid (haha). Getting this Reiki work is a real thing and I’m shocked. And I’ll never be the same person again. I can’t wait to share this new energy with the world.
