High Protein Cookies N Cream Milkshake

Just because you want to be healthy doesn’t mean that the treats have to be bitter. You’ll be shocked at how amazing this smoothie can be. A similar drink from a fast food restaurant would have more than 3 times the sugar. The only part of the shake that is less than healthy is the cookies, as it calls for a stuffed chocolate cookie, but you can probably find a low sugar or low-fat alternative. It should also be noted that you want to use a salt free version of the cottage cheese. This recipe will make enough for 2 servings you can share with a friend.

What You Need

450 grams fat-free cottage cheese, salt free or low salt
2 cups of milk, preferably skim milk
6 stuffed chocolate cookies
2 tsp sweetener
2 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Peppermint Smoothie

Though this dessert smoothie seems like it would be prefect for more festive times of year, this smoothie is ready to prove that it can hang with the other drinks all year round. This recipe has the ability to provide a whopping 12 grams of protein and contain only 9 grams of sugar.

What You Need

½ large banana, frozen
2 large ice cubes
½ cup non-dairy milk of choice
½ scoop Chocolate flavored whey protein powder
1 tbsp cocoa powder
¼ tsp of sea salt
? tsp pure peppermint extract
toppings: homemade whipping cream and vegan chocolate chips/flakes

Freedom Toast Protein Smoothie

This smoothie will definitely catch your attention, and not just because it has a snappy name.

This drink contains 0 fats and has only 12 grams of sugar. Obviously, this drink has a French toast theme, but the freedom that you’ll feel from not having to worry about calories and fats make it a much more liberating drink.

What You Need

¼ cup of low fat or fat free cottage cheese
½ scoops of vanilla whey protein powder
¼ tsp Maple extract
¼ tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp pumpkin spices
3 packets of sweetener
? cup Water
4 Ice Cubes
