If you are sick of going to the dentist and paying for professional teeth whitening, why not try it at home? There are a few different ways to whiten your teeth naturally and inexpensively.

Whiten Your Teeth at Home With These Tips

Baking Soda for White Teeth

This is an old, tried and true method of whitening your teeth naturally. You can either wet your toothbrush and add some baking soda to it, or combine baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Choose your option, add it to your toothbrush, and start brushing your teeth just like you normally would. Pay more attention to the front enamel of your teeth where you want them to be whitened. You can also use hydrogen peroxide as a rinse, followed by rinsing with plain water. This will kill bacteria in your mouth and improve your breath at the same time.

Use Activated Charcoal

Charcoal is another ingredients that can be used to whiten your teeth naturally. You want to get the powdered form of activated charcoal, which is easy to find online at stores like Amazon or at your local natural grocery store. Wet your toothbrush, preferably one used only for this purpose, then dip it into the activated charcoal powder. Now brush your teeth for 2 minutes just like any other day. If you are consistent and do this daily, you will start to notice that your teeth are much whiter.

MMS (Sodium Chlorite) for White Teeth

Swish and brush with activated MMS and water. Then rinse with MMS, spit it out, and swish some more with MMS for whiter teeth and healthier teeth and gums. Just make up a 10 drops dose of MMS. Take 10 drops and add 50 drops of citric acid or lemon juice wait 3 minutes and then add about 1/2 glass of water (4 ounces). Use a soft tooth brush and pour the liquid onto the brush and brush your teeth and gums very well. Some people report good results by dipping the MMS-wetted brush in baking soda then brushing the teeth.

Give Coconut Oil Pulling a Try

Coconut oil pulling has been around for a while, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. This is a type of rinsing with coconut oil, but you are working to pull the oil through your teeth. You are going to whiten your teeth while also improving your breath, getting rid of bacteria, and cleaning between your teeth where your toothbrush won’t reach. You want to melt the oil first, then swish it and pull through your teeth about 10-15 minutes, or up to 20 minutes if you can handle it.

You may also see the advice of rinsing with apple cider vinegar. While this is natural and safe to use, it is also highly acidic. This can be damaging to the enamel of your teeth. If you decide to do this, ask your dentist first, and make sure you rinse well after rinsing with the apple cider vinegar. It should be diluted when using as a rinse for your teeth.
